Originally produced for Icons Authentic Replicas, then re-manufactured for a licensing deal in association with Classics Reborn, Custom Replicas was sub-contracted to produce a faithful 18" Collectors Edition miniature replica.

The replica is made of pressure injected polyurethane resin, contoured to match to the original 4 foot TV filming miniature.

The landing gear are separate modules which are attached to the landing gear bays by way of a screw. These can be removed for displaying the replica as an 'in-flight' version.

The effects package is made up of the lower fusion-core, the interior backlit scrim, and the upper navigational dome.

To access the batteries, this replica features a removable fusion-core via a 'twist and lock' fastener device.

Once the fusion-core is removed, the electronic LED circuit can be laid aside. Using a jeweler's tiny screwdriver, the bottom panel is held in place with two tiny screws. Once removed, the 3 AA Alkaline batteries can easily be replaced.

To date, this project was delivered to Classics Reborn, then moved over to Mannetron for production, since the licensing was split.

As of April 2003, the license reverted back to Space Productions. There is no immediate plans by either of the former license holders to take this 1 of kind prototype into production.
