1/350 scale - 77" Enterprise E

Last update: March 15, 2008

A planned re-creation of the original studio scale ENTERPRISE - E  filming miniature, but in smaller 1/350 scale.

At nearly 77" in length, this miniature will feature all the detailing found on the original TV series filming miniature, recently seen and sold at Christie's Star Trek auction.

This nearly studio scale sized miniature will have all the graphics seen on the original, with all of the same meticulous attention to detail.

PHASE 1 - DESIGN & PARTS FABRICATION

This section of the portfolio focuses on the start-up efforts made by Mark Dickson to get the patterning started. This includes the production molds, and fiberglass castings necessary to create the many miniature parts.

PHASE 2 -  MINIATURE ASSEMBLY

This section of the portfolio follows the actual build process of the various sections: from the aluminum armature, to the secondary, then saucer, and engine nacelles, onto the final lighting installation - all of which integrates into a final stand design.
