Sovereign Class Enterprise E. This three foot miniature is the study model for an in progress 77” larger scale replica to ascertain the feasibility of certain surface detailing and structural requirements. Revamping a Sovereign Replicas fiberglass kit, we literally made all portions removable for servicing (saucer into secondary hull). Unique to the this build, and not part of the kit, was the development of the translucent blue/red engine parts. This allowed for a greater degree of luminosity within the nacelles previously unmatched. Most of the surface colorations were crammed onto this smaller re-creation, managing to represent most of the Aztec paint scheme. Some of the surface detailing was obtained through water slide decals while the deflector dish is two layers of photo-etched brass.
